Athletes sustain overuse injuries because they only play in the dimensions required in their sport, rather than in the way their body was created. We want athletes to excel at their chosen sport. That is precisely the reason we developed our Athletic Performance Training Program. We Build Better Athlete’s, so that, when they do step on the court or field, they stay injury free and can stand out from the pack, earn that starting position or get the attention of recruiters.
Strive Fitness and Performance offers a solid foundation of training that focuses on developing strength and power through functional sports training. We include instruction on movement training, injury reduction, speed development, agility, power development, proper weight training techniques, and functional strength training.

Mighty Strive (7-11 Years Old)

Check out our Youth Fitness program, designed exclusively for grammar school athletes, 7-11 years old. This one day per week 45 minutes each day program focuses on the foundation elements of a beginner’s performance program.
Athletes are playing sports younger and younger each year. And with the cost of multiple teams, tournaments and showcases, comes a cost of overuse to the body.
We want to make sure that we develop a great foundation of fitness and skills early on to prevent issues as they get older. Plus, this is the BEST time to teach the necessary skills to run fast, jump high and control their bodies before they hit a growth spurt in their pre-teen years.
We also want them to have a great time doing it!
Our MIGHTY Strive classes will focus on
- Bodyweight mastery, especially the athletic position
- First step quickness and breakaway speed
- Agility and change of direction skills and
- Most importantly, HAVING FUN!
There is no actual weight training in MIGHTY Strive. Everything will be done with the resistance of body weight, medicine balls and/or resistance bands.

Female Athlete Training
ACL tears are a devastating injury to sustain and are at an all-time high! The cost of an ACL tear is great physically, emotionally and financially. It’s especially difficult for female athletes, ages 14-18, as they are up to 9x more likely to suffer an ACL tear than males.
IT’S TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Current research shows that a significant number (50% or more) of ACL injuries could be avoided with proper Neuromuscular and Sport Performance Training. Not only can these types of training reduce the risk of injury, they also work to increase your athlete’s Speed, Agility, Vertical Jump, Core Strength and Aerobic Capacity.
